Glenn Frey, Eagles co-founder and guitarist has died at the age of 67, according to TMZ.

Reports indicate that Frey's condition took a "turn for the worse" after battling intestinal issues that resulted in a major surgery in November. He passed away in New York City on Monday from complications from rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and pneumonia.

The Eagles performed in Sioux Falls in June 2015 as the History of the Eagles Tour thrilled audiences across the nation.

Glenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia. In remembrance, the Eagles posted the lyrics to “It’s Your World Now” which was written by Glenn Frey and Jack Tempchin on the Eagles’ Long Road Out of Eden album on Eagles.com
