Bob Dylan, B.B. King and Buddy Guy are among the artists who appear in Born in Chicago, a documentary premiering at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas in mid-March.

The film is about the migration of blues music from the Mississippi delta to Chicago, and the middle class white kids who adopted the music as their own once it got there. It also features The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Eric Burdon, Keith Richards, Steve Miller and Jack White, among others.

The first screening takes place March 13th at Austin’s Paramount Theater, with subsequent showings the next two days at other locations. A panel discussion with some of the film’s principals will take place prior to the final screening on March 15th.
