A 33 year-old Nebraska woman made a poor decision to pet a tiger while intoxicated in a zoo.

Jacqueline Eide had a little too much to drink on Halloween night and tried to get some cuddle time with a tiger after breaking into Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. The cat-lover somehow reached into to the tiger's cage to pet the 18-year-old Malayan tiger named Mai.

Mai, being a tiger and all, bit the woman's hand.

She was taken to the hospital by a friend and suffered "severe trauma" to her left hand and, to add insult to injury, cited for criminal trespass.

The Omaha Police Department later warned "Just in case you had any doubt... If you pet a tiger you will most likely get bitten."
