It's amazing really.  Out of 26 symbols called letters we can take them and turn them into whatever we want.  Wherever we want to go.  Anything and anywhere at all.  Any time.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!

I can remember my mother reading me Green Eggs and Ham' and 'Sam I Am.'  I'll bet you have a similar story.  I can remember the ratty hard covered book that was so worn out from reading it over and over.

“You're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So... get on your way!”
Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Many Americans first taste of literature and the amazing world words and reading was introduced to them in the form of a Dr. Seuss book.  This Dr. Seuss was quite a guy.  Actually his name was Theodor Seuss Geisel and his artwork, sculptures and artifacts are on display here in Sioux Falls at The Washington Pavilion.

It's fitting that The Washington Pavilion is situated in the old Washington High School here in Sioux Falls as it is a wonderful place to see, hear and learn.  That's really what is going on with Seuss Falls: Discovering the Art and Science of Dr. Seuss on now at the Pavilion.

Some of the crew from the Pavilion were in the Kickin' Country studios this morning to spread the word of the exhibit.  You will love it, and your kids will love it too. Oh, and it's not just for kids, there are parts of the exhibit that will amaze even the older people in your party.

Listen to Kickin' Country at 8:40 a.m. to The Big Breakfast.  They'll tell you how you can win tickets to the exhibit.

We are looking so forward to it, we plan to go and check it out ourselves.

Oh, the best Dr. Seuss Quote of all time?

“In my world, everyone's a pony and they all eat rainbows and poop butterflies!”
Dr. Seuss
