After a 3 year tour in the U.S. Army I decided that I needed to further my education and enrolled at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, yes college, I'm that old. My radio career began there when a fellow dorm denizen asked me to go to a frat party. Turns out he worked at the campus radio station and he asked what I knew about rock and roll music, "I know who sings the songs" I replied. Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm originally from the Twin Cities, but have been in South Dakota over 20 years, first in the Black Hills, and since 1996, on the air here at B102.7! I'm obviously a BIG music fan, and you'll likely run into me at a show here in town or somewhere across the region. I try to get out as often as I can and support the local venues and bands. I’ve been a part of the Sioux Falls media for nearly 25 years. I grew up in Southern California, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Communications in 1986. I got my start in television later that year at KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona. I moved to Sioux Falls in 1989 to become Sports Director at KSFY-TV, a position I held for more than eight years.
