With attendance up at all the Disney theme parks, the company has decided to switch over to a "seasonal pricing model." In layman's terms, that means it'll cost you more during the super busy times.

So in other words, the cost of riding a particular ride will depend on the day and the demand. The company switched over to a three-tier pricing model this past weekend. It's similar to what the sports and travel industries have been using.

Disneyland and Disney World tickets now vary depending on the day they're used. For dates outside of summer and holidays, the cost will start at $95 for anyone age 10 and up. "Regular tickets" start at $105 and "peak tickets" start at $119.

According to a spokesperson for the company, their hope is that by going to a seasonal pricing model, it'll help spread out visitor numbers over the entire year, alleviating some of the crowds seen during the peak times.
