Call this a lesson that will have an appreciative payback. Take away the electronic gadgets and close the toy box for a few days this summer while you introduce your kids to nature.

Beginning Wednesday (June 21) the Siouxland Libraries staff will be holding a Nature Discovery Series at Falls Park.

You may think that the only way to observe nature is to drive out of the city. Ahhh nope! Nature is everywhere, even in urban environments.

You and your kids will discover birds, insects, and trees through this free program.

Three summer Wednesdays: June 21, July 12, and August 9 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.  Attendees should meet at the Falls Park picnic shelter.

To registration for the three-part series call 367-8700 or visit Siouxland Libraries,
