"Good Guy Grohl" is probably one of the greatest memes of all time, mostly because Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl by all accounts is a really good guy. If anyone needed more proof of how much of a sweetheart Dave is, he proved it once again recently giving his shoe to a fan on crutches.

At the Foo Fighters' recent Washington D.C. show, one fan went to see the group during a meet and greet. Upon meeting the band, she was also told by Grohl's orthopedic doctor (who apparently follows him around) that she needs to be wearing a shoe in order to fully recover from the injury, and Grohl offered her his own shoe.

"Dave brought him [the doctor] out once he saw that I was on crutches, and that's when his doctor mentioned that I was supposed to wear a shoe with my brace," the fan told Alt Press. "I told him that my shoes didn't fit over it because it's pretty big and my shoes are kinda small. So Dave said, 'You need one of my big high tops!' and I laughed it off."

Grohl ran off into his dressing room, and brought the fan his extra sneaker, one he used from when he broke his leg.

"I wore it for the rest of the night after Dave told me to put it on," the fan says. "It's definitely one of the coolest things to ever happen, and probably the funniest." The shoe now sits as a display piece in her house.
