It really doesn't completely feel like Christmas to me until I sit down and watch the OLD half hour TV specials of the Grinch, Rudolph and even Frosty the Snowman, but there are a half dozen movies that make my 'must watch' list that I can seriously watch every year.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. If there was a Hall of Fame for Christmas movies, this would be a charter member in my book. So many hilarious scenes and memorable lines. One of the 'seasonal' movies I can watch any time of the year.

A Christmas Story Sarah isn't a fan of this one so I watch it after she goes to bed! Ralph wanting that Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas, the leg lamp and all the rest make this a must see in my book.

The Santa Clause The trilogy is one of Sarah's favorites, but for my money, they could've stopped after the first one. Funny and heartwarming, it had Tim Allen at his comedic height and encapsulates the spirit of the season.

Fred Claus Vince Vaughn as a hustler and Santa's brother worked for me. I've been a Vaughn fan since 'Swingers' so this movie is good mindless fun for the holidays

Four Christmases Another Vince Vaughn flick, this one with the cute as a bug Reese Witherspoon as a couple with divorced parents being forced into trying to spend a little time with all of them. Just watched it again last weekend.

Elf Quickly gaining on Christmas Vacation as one of the all-time greats, Will Ferrell as a giant elf? I'm in!

So that's my list of movies we'll be watching with the family over the long holiday weekend. Maybe it'll inspire you to rent or buy them to enjoy them with your family.

But I also want to know what's on YOUR must see list! Leave them here so I can plan for next Christmas with the family.
