Can you imagine being able to buy a new car for $825? Today, that will maybe get you the tires.

It was October 1, 1908 that Henry Ford introduced the Model T. It wasn't the first car in the world, but very well could be the most important.

The Ford Model T was named the world's most influential car of the 20th century in an international poll.

It's regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American. Some of this was because of Ford's efficient fabrication, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting.

The car was produced up until mid-year 1927. Production stopped because of something new coming out to rock the world. No it wasn't an iPhone 1, it was the Model A.
