The whole creepy clown movement is getting out of control, at least in my opinion. I’m not even afraid of clowns! But people around the world are now starting to get offended by how normal clowns are being treated, and are standing up for the cause.

Originally beginning in the United States, the clown sightings have now stemmed out to other nations, such as England and Australia.

All the negative connotations that have come along with the creepy clowns in the press has resulted in an Arizona woman organizing a ‘Clown Lives Matter’ event, where clowns can be appreciated.

Nikki Sinn organized a march for this Saturday, October 15, in Tucson, Arizona. She hopes that the event will show people that clowns can be a positive thing, and they aren’t always frightening or creepy.

The ‘Clown Lives Matter’ event will include clowns in full costume, walking peacefully and passing out balloon animals, fliers and giving free hugs.

Sounds harmless, right? Well, not everyone is on board. According to The FW, Reverend Reginald Walton, who is the chairman of the Black Lives Matter movement in Arizona is not on board. Walton believes it is offensive to his cause.

What do you think? Should clowns be treated with more respect? Would you attend the event?
