I will spend $50 to $75 per ticket to support charity wine events, wine classes, dinner fundraisers or any combination that includes food and wine. But, I draw the line at water classes! Unless it involves water skis.

An LA restaurant is offering a 45-page water menu. Patina, employs its own water sommelier. And Martin Riese has taken the plunge offering lessons, which the website Eater says are, "designed to help you know your water better." Last year the restaurant introduced the new menu that includes 'limited edition' waters.

Swirl, sniff, slosh and chew. Mmmmm, the bouquet. The water offered ranges anywhere from $8-$16 per bottle.  Good grief!
