Cincinnati Bengals Receive Weird Assist on Game Winning Field Goal

Science is weird. Planet Earth is either a huge fan of the Cincinnati Bengals or Bengals kicker Mike Nugent is overly smart.

Apparently the game winning field goal in overtime for Nugent was assisted by the Earth’s rotation. Factors such as the field not being direct north-south and the distance of the field goal made Nugent’s 42 yard field goal (knowingly or not) hook to the right for the win.
