Unless you're the kind of person that keeps their Christmas decorations up through Presidents Day, you're probably in the process of repacking all the yuletide decorations.

But, even after all the ornaments and stockings are snug in their plastic totes in the basement, there's one thing left to do. Whoops, there's two things. First, go get those window clings off the front window. No, three things, we also forgot the wreath on the door.

OK, we got that stuff, so now the last thing to do. The event that will signal the official end of the Christmas season. Blowing up the gingerbread houses with fireworks.

Why would anybody do this, you ask? First of all, that gingerbread is stale, the frosting is hard and the gumdrops taste like packing peanuts. So you can't eat the house.

And second of all, fireworks.
