It's Design Week '15 in downtown Sioux Falls.

What's Design Week? It's a week that's simply about celebrating all things art and design.

Head downtown this week and you will find a number of events that are all designed to coincide with Sioux Falls Design Week.

This is the second year of Design Week, which started as a small, grassroots event last year that has grown much bigger this year. All the events happening this week are free and welcome to all ages.

For instance, Tuesday, October 6, author Rex Miller will talk about his book, "Change Your Space, Change Your Culture," which is about how businesses can transform to focus on the people in the business rather than just the space itself. That event begins at 4:30 at The Bakery.

The City Sketch Crawl takes place on Thursday at the Design Center from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Artists of all ages are welcome to come out and draw on location downtown. Sketch pads and pencils will be provided.

Those are just a couple examples of some of the fun things you can take part in. See a complete list of what's happening here.

Sioux Falls Design Week '15 concludes on Friday, October 9 at the Sioux Falls Design Center with some light refreshments and good times at the closing party from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. At the party you'll be able to see photos taken during the events throughout the week and congratulate the winners of the  Build a Better Birdhouse Design Competition at the Awards Ceremony from 7:00 -7:30 PM.
