Former Creedence Clearwater Revival drummer Doug Clifford and bassist Stu Cook have no desire to reunite with John Fogerty.

In the fall of 2011, Fogerty was quoted as saying that he finally might be open to reuniting the old band with Clifford and Cook, who tour together as Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Shortly after that, Fogerty did a few shows in which he played entire Creedence albums, leading to rumors that he would be joined by Doug and Stu. But it never happened and, according to Clifford, he has no interest. “We could make 10 times more money maybe if Revival got together again, but at this point in my life happiness is king.”

The original group, which included Fogerty's brother Tom until he left in 1971, scored 16 Top 20 singles.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited will be back on the road later this month. Fogerty will soon release his duets album, Wrote a Song for Everyone. He is also working on a memoir, which will be published next year.
