(Facebook)

Cars frontman Ric Ocasek visited L.A’s Amoeba Records on Wednesday to play a few songs and sit for an interview about his recently released book, Lyrics and Prose. As the title suggests, the book collects the lyrics he wrote for The Cars and adds some stories, as well as poetry, he penned during the band’s early years. Asked about his current musical endeavors, Ocasek merely said he’s “working on songs to put on a record.”

He also performed three Cars songs acoustically, Moving in Stereo, I’m Not the One and My Best Friend’s Girl.
