Carl Edwards took the NASCAR Sprint Cup win at Richmond, Virginia on Sunday, but bumped his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch in the process. Busch was going for his third victory in four events.

Edwards makes it two wins in a row. But this time it was at the cost of his teammate losing out due to Edwards bumping him on the final lap.

Busch had taken the lead with a great pit stop performance on lap 365 of 400. This was after the eighth and final caution of the race.

Busch was set to win until Edwards bumped and ran on him on the last lap. Which I might add, resulted in something for the history books. It’s the first time ever that a race was won with a last lap pass in the history of the ¾ mile track located just outside of Richmond.

At the end, Edwards celebrated victory. Busch held silence and team owner Joe Gibbs had to deal with divided loyalties.

The story between the top two finishers is riveting, but so was the action behind them. The track was changing throughout the afternoon.

With that, there were 23 changes for the lead among eight different drivers. We saw cars come alive and then fade.

Jimmie Johnson was a powerhouse early, but came in third. Kasey Kahne was fourth, his first time in the top five since Kansas last October. Kevin Harvick came in fifth. See where your driver finished.

How did Tony Stewart do in his first race of the year? He suffered a cut tire and finished 19th. Stewart missed the previous races this season while recovering from a back injury and surgery.
