Car Turns Into Boat

What’s the old saying, “What goes around, comes around.”

Well, guess what?  There’s a new Amphibious Car currently on display at the North American Auto Show in Detroit.  Richard Branson is the man responsible.  He owns Virgin Airlines.

Unlike the Aqua Car from back in the 1970′s (which never did catch on), this one is actually capable of doing 45 miles per hour while in the water.  The one back in the 70′s could only do about 10 miles per hour.

And the best part is it only takes 5 seconds to go from one mode to the other.

When it’ll actually be available to the public, they’re not saying.  But with something this cool, you can bet as soon as I hear something I’ll let you know.
