Police have arrested 73-year-old Robert Larson of Sioux Falls. They say he was driving drunk when he crashed his car into two parked cars and a church office building.

Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says just before midnight, Larson's vehicle reportedly entered the parking lot in the 3500 block of South Gateway Blvd. The vehicle struck two parked cars and hit 3 air conditioners in one building and then drove forward and went through the outside wall of a second building.

The crash just before midnight Thursday left a hole in the side of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod office. KELO-TV reports that church officials worked early Friday to patch the hole. A damage estimate wasn't immediately available.

Clemens says a 77-year-old passenger suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital.

Police say charges are pending against the driver.
