Better watch what you're posting on Twitter these days, it just might be killing you!

If you make a habit of using Twitter to vent and say all kinds of nasty things there's a very good chance you could eventually die from heart problems. This according to a new study that was published recently in the journal "Psychological Science."

Thirteen-hundred tweets from Americans were examined and researchers found a link between heart disease and expressing negative emotions like anger and anxiety on Twitter.

You should know the people who sent the tweets weren't people who have died of heart disease.

Researchers compared the data where the negative tweets were emanating from to health data from the CDC. They found that areas with significantly more negative tweets also had more deaths related to heart disease.

This obviously doesn't mean Twitter itself is killing people. But this study and others like it, all point to the fact that being negative tends to be associated with things like anti-social behavior and a poor diet, which can lead to heart problems.

Sounds like it's time to get away from posting all those tweets about "Deflategate" and how flat you think Tom Brady's balls are. And get back to tweeting cute little pictures of puppies and kitties again.  Remember, #Nothingnegative.
