‘Burlington’ to Open a Sioux Falls Store This May

If one of your favorite things in life is to give your debit and credit cards a really serious workout in a department store, then get ready to get your shop on!

Burlington Coat Factory, a leading national off-price retailer will be opening its first South Dakota store in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 1, 2015.

The Sioux Falls store will be located in the Dawley Farm at 701 South Highline Place.

Tom Kingsbury, chairman and CEO, Burlington Stores said, “We are thrilled to open our first Burlington location in the state of South Dakota. Our new location opening in the city of Sioux Falls this spring will bring jobs to the local community and will provide area residents with a valued shopping experience."

The new store is expected to bring 50 to 100 jobs to the Sioux Empire.

Burlington also plans to host a philanthropic program called "Gives Back." The program will be dedicated to donating new merchandise to local charitable agencies in communities surrounding Burlington locations.
