Billboard is reporting that the NFL has asked Bruno Mars to make a return to the Super Bowl halftime stage.

Mars did the show in 2014 with special guests Red Hot Chili Peppers. That performance was the second highest viewed halftime show in history. Katy Perry's from last year is number one.

Sources say that Bruno was also asked to curate the show. Billboard says that could mean more special guests.

Super Bowl 50 will be on February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
