Legendary British rock band Badfinger is back in the spotlight as their 1972 hit "Baby Blue" was played in the final minutes of Sunday's Breaking Bad series finale.

Reportedly written by frontman Pete Ham about Dixie Armstrong, a woman he dated while on tour of the U.S., the song seemed to perfectly sum up the final minutes of the story of Walter White.

It includes such lines as "I guess I got what I deserved" and "I would show the special love I have for you, my baby blue," which was used as a reference to the blue colored crystal meth cooked by the White character on the show.

This isn't the first time the creators of Breaking Bad have turned to a blue-themed classic. Last year's mid-season finale included Tommy James and the Shondells' "Crystal Blue Persuasion."
