Sunday's NASCAR race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama was not just about having a fast race car. It was a matter of survival on the race track.

This was a race that was filled with wrecks. There were three red flags and very few cars even finished the race.

Take a look at the final results and see how many cars are listed as "accident" as final status. Only 14 of the 40 cars finished the race.

Of those survivors, it was a thriller at the end. Brad Keselowski passed Ryan Newman on the final lap for the victory.

Keselowski's win, punched his ticket for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series’ Round of 8. Trevor Bayne came in third, Joey Logano fourth and Aric Almirola finished fifth.

Next Sunday is an elimination race at Kansas Speedway. Here's the Playoff Standings.
