With lots of people putting the staple get fit in the new year resolution on their list, there is no shortage of newgadgets and memberships to help.

A San Francisco company called OMsignal has developed the world's first "smart" bra, which tracks things like heart rate, breathing, activity, and displays it via an app on their smartphone.

Its makers believe that instead of wearing a Fitbit or Apple Watch to track the information, women will like the idea of getting it from an item of clothing they're already wearing.

"Women gravitate towards wearables, but they don't want an item they have to put on or worry about every day."

-OMsignal chief marketing officer Shaz Khang

The bra, which is set to start shipping out this spring, sells for around $150, and pre-orders are being accepted.
