Wednesday sounds like it was an interesting and eventful day at the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Puddle of Mudd lead singer Wes Scantlin was arrested for driving under the influence. His second DUI in less than a month.

He was later released on $500 bail, so he could make his Puddle of Mudd performance in Sturgis later that night.

Then there was the world record attempt at The Chip on Wednesday as well.

People at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally attempted to set an interesting world record for the most people assembled in one spot wearing only their underwear.

One problem, not enough people showed up in their skivvies.

The attempt was made at the Buffalo Chip Campground on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

But only 182 people wearing their boxers, briefs and bras gathered.

The world record for the largest group of people in one spot wearing only underwear is 2,270. That happened back on September 24, 2011 at the Utah Undie Run in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Greg and Jennie Stilton of Rapid City, the organizers for this attempt thought it would be "a comical way to set a world record."

Even though they failed to set the record, participants like Mark Goldstein, of St. George, Utah still had a good time. According to Goldstein, "Where else but Sturgis could you do this?"
