The charges against former U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth are now in the form of a grand jury indictment.

Attorney General Marty Jackley says a Hughes County Grand Jury this week returned an indictment on Tuesday, charging Bosworth with six counts of offering a false or forged instrument for filing.

She was charged by complaint with the same offenses on June 4.

The 42-year-old Sioux Falls physician is to answer the charges Monday morning in Hughes County court in Pierre.

The charges against Bosworth are a Class 6 felony, which carry a maximum sentence for conviction of two years in prison and/or a fine of $4,000.
