Bob Seger starts his Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour tonight (Wednesday) with the first of two shows in Toledo, Ohio.

Seger's last tour wound down a little more than a year ago, and though he's been working on a new album, he says he loves getting on stage.

Seger will be backed by his Silver Bullet Band, which still includes longtime bassist Chris Campbell, sax player Alto Reed and keyboardist Craig Frost, along with Grand Funk drummer Don Brewer. The lineup is rounded out by Rob McNelley on guitar, Jim "Moose" Brown on guitar and keyboards, three background singers -- including Shaun Murphy from Little Feat -- and the four-piece Motor City Horns.

The tour runs through April 18th in Buffalo, New York and includes two dates with Kid Rock in the Midwest in March. Joe Walsh will open 10 dates starting March 27th in Vancouver.
