Bob Dylan is really a heavy metal artist. An exhibit of his iron works will go on display in London in November.

Dubbed Mood Swings, the Halcyon Gallery exhibit will feature seven iron gates, which Dylan welded out of vintage iron and other scrap metal in his studio. These will be shown alongside original paintings and limited editions.

Dylan says, "I've been around iron all my life ever since I was a kid. I was born and raised in iron ore country -- where you could breathe it and smell it every day. And I've always worked with it in one form or another. Gates appeal to me because of the negative space they allow. They can be closed, but at the same time, they allow the seasons and breezes to enter and flow. They can shut you out or shut you in. And in some ways, there is no difference."

All the items on display will be for sale. The exhibit gets under way on November 16th and will run through January 25th.

Dylan starts a European tour on October 10th in Oslo, Norway.
