Bo Pelini Is Passionate About Something Other Than Screaming At Officials
We’ve seen it time and time again during the Bo Pelini years at Nebraska. The Huskers football coach is a VERY passionate guy. Just ask any official who draws the short straw and has to patrol the Nebraska sideline on a Saturday afternoon.
But when football season is over, Pelini’s number one passion shifts from the gridiron to the diamond.
The Youngstown, Ohio native’s favorite team? The Cleveland Indians.
This week during Nebraska baseball coach Darin Erstad’s radio show, Pelini – AKA Bo from Lincoln – couldn’t resist getting the former big leaguer’s opinion on the Tribe’s chances in the 2014 season.
The Indians finished 92-70 in manager Terry Francona’s first season in 2013, good enough for second place in the American League Central and a Wild Card Spot in the MLB Playoffs.
The Tribe was eliminated in the wild card game by the Tampa Bay Rays.
