Prairie Berry Winery is bringing the best of the Black Hills to their new Winery & Restaurant in downtown Sioux Falls early next year.

The recently renovated Frank Transfer and Storage Building on 8th Street will be the east river home to the Hill City Winery that plans on offering a restaurant, wine tasting, on and off sale wine, retail and event space.

The Frank Building is also home to the newly relocated Queen City Bakery.

Prairie Berry co-owner Matt Keck says they've wanted to expand to Sioux Falls and the newly renovated space at the Frank Building gives them the opportunity to bring their products to Sioux Falls while focusing more on the restaurant side of the operation rather than the store being the main focus as it is in Hill City.

Keck says they plan on offering soup, salad, sandwich lunches and appetizers and cheese trays in the evening when they open in the first half of 2014.
