Billy Joel – Major Announcement Tuesday

Billy Joel says he will make an "exclusive and historic announcement" next Tuesday at New York's Madison Square Garden. Seeing as how it is being held at the Garden and broadcast live on the MSG Network, MSG’s Fuse network and BillyJoel.com, it is safe to assume it has do with performing.

Back in 2010 he said he was exploring the possibility of doing a residency in New York, so perhaps he has inked a deal with MSG to do one either in the Garden, where he is doing four shows early next year, or one of their smaller New York properties such as the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, or the Beacon Theatre, where the Allman Brothers do a residency every March.
