Billy Joel dug deep into his back catalogue on Wednesday night (October 16th) at Huntington, New York's 1,550-seat theater, The Paramount. The "Piano Man," who has been rehearsing at the Long Island venue in preparation for his upcoming dates in England and Ireland, played in benefit of Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Among the highlights in the 22-song set, were cuts from his last album, 1993's River Of Dreams, including the rarely performed "Great Wall Of China," and the moody "Blonde Over Blue" -- which Billy told the crowd he wasn't sure he's ever performed live before.

Other highlights included a double dose of rarities from his 1982 The Nylon Curtain album -- "A Room Of Our Own" and "She's Right On Time" -- along with the 1973 Piano Man nugget "Stop In Nevada," which blew more than a few minds with the die-hard crowd who've long been calling for more material from the legendary set along with its 1974 followup, Streetlife Serenade; which was represented by the FM standard, "The Entertainer." In addition to the hit-packed set, Billy also found time for the 1986 evergreen "This Is The Time," from The Bridge.
