The Beatles' first album, Please Please Me, will get a special tribute from the BBC next month.

BBC Radio 2 is marking the 50th anniversary of the album's recording by having a roster of musicians, including Stereophonics and Simply Red's Mick Hucknall, record the entire album in order in just 12 hours at Abbey Road studios. The Fab Four recorded all 14 tracks on the album in one 12-hour session on February 11th, 1963.

The event will air live on BBC Radio 2 on February 11th, and a TV special called 12 Hours to Please Me will run on February 15th in the U.K.
