Billy Dukes' music background includes jobs as Music Director and night DJ at WQDR 94.7 in Raleigh, N.C., writer for Recoil Magazine, a monthly out of Grand Rapids, Mich., and writer for the Kalamazoo Gazette, in Kalamazoo, Mich. The Western Michigan University graduate followed a girl to Raleigh in 2006, and wisely married her one year later. They live in northeast Wake County with their two dogs Daisy and Clementine and their son. In his free time Billy enjoys playing and watching baseball, cycling, and exploring nature.

Lynyrd Skynyrd Forced to Reroute Cruise Due to Hurricane Sandy

Lynyrd Skynyrd has rerouted their fan cruise due to Hurricane Sandy. The Simple Man cruise set sail on Saturday (Oct. 27) from a port in Miami, Fla. and will now head to Cozumel and not Key West and Great Stirrup Cay. The tweaking may not have avoided the storm's turbulence however.

Bon Jovi has announced a 2013 world wide tour in support of their upcoming new album. Because We Can -- the Tour will begin in Canada, before scheduled but not yet revealed dates take the group through the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Far East, Africa and Australia. Six Canadian dates were announced on Thursday morning.

Prior to kicking off major tours, the Rolling Stones like to play an intimate club date to get a feel for an audience once again. Eleven days before the 2005 Bigger Bang tour began the rockers piled into the Phoenix Concert Theater in Toronto to play new music and test a few covers on fans. That show is now available for download at the band's archive website.
