Billy Dukes' music background includes jobs as Music Director and night DJ at WQDR 94.7 in Raleigh, N.C., writer for Recoil Magazine, a monthly out of Grand Rapids, Mich., and writer for the Kalamazoo Gazette, in Kalamazoo, Mich. The Western Michigan University graduate followed a girl to Raleigh in 2006, and wisely married her one year later. They live in northeast Wake County with their two dogs Daisy and Clementine and their son. In his free time Billy enjoys playing and watching baseball, cycling, and exploring nature.

The mother of Scorpions singer Klaus Meine has died. Erna Meine was called Hanover, Germany's "Rock Granny" before she succumbed to the damage caused by a stroke in early October. The 92-year-old matriarch to the country's greatest rock band died on Oct. 25, according to Bild.de.

Journey has postponed five concerts after singer Arnel Pineda was diagnosed with severe laryngeal and esophageal inflammation. The rockers were scheduled to play dates through the Midwest this weekend and early next week, but won't take the stage again until Nov. 16 in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Rush to Release Super Deluxe Version of ’2112′ Album

Rush will re-release their 1976 album '2112' in 2012. A description on Amazon lists Dec. 18 as the day three separate versions of the project will be available, although all three sets are available for pre-order now. '2112' was a comeback album for the Canadian rock band, after 'Caress of Steel' flopped.
