Billy Dukes' music background includes jobs as Music Director and night DJ at WQDR 94.7 in Raleigh, N.C., writer for Recoil Magazine, a monthly out of Grand Rapids, Mich., and writer for the Kalamazoo Gazette, in Kalamazoo, Mich. The Western Michigan University graduate followed a girl to Raleigh in 2006, and wisely married her one year later. They live in northeast Wake County with their two dogs Daisy and Clementine and their son. In his free time Billy enjoys playing and watching baseball, cycling, and exploring nature.

Journey to Play ‘CMT Crossroads’ Concert

Journey will be in New Orleans Super Bowl weekend. The rock group, led by Neal Schon, will join country trio Rascal Flatts for a 'CMT Crossroads' special at 11PM ET on CMT. 'CMT Crossroads' pairs country superstars with rock or pop artists for a concert of each band's most well-known songs. This is the second time Journey and Rascal Flatts have shared a stage.

Rush Adds New 2013 Tour Dates

Rush has added nine new 'Clockwork Angels' tour dates in North America, in order to satisfy high demand. After mounting a successful 2012 tour and releasing an acclaimed album of the same name last June, the band will visit venues in Florida, Texas, Tennessee and states along the East Coast, with more American and Canadian dates to be announced soon.

More sounds from the upcoming 'Sound City Reel to Reel' album have been released. Rocker and film director Dave Grohl has teamed with Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick and bassist Scott Reeder to create 'From Can to Can't,' a soaring rock ballad that will transcend one back to 2002 when everything on the radio was thick with heartache power chords and thin on melody.

High on Fire Frontman Matt Pike Calls Aerosmith ‘A Polished Turd’

Matt Pike of the heavy metal band High on Fire isn't an Aerosmith fan and he's not afraid to declare his comprehensive hatred for the classic rockers. In an interview with A.V. Club, Pike says he calls the "off" button on his stereo the "Aerosmith button" and refers to them as the "crappiest, most overrated s**t band of all time."
