Billy Dukes' music background includes jobs as Music Director and night DJ at WQDR 94.7 in Raleigh, N.C., writer for Recoil Magazine, a monthly out of Grand Rapids, Mich., and writer for the Kalamazoo Gazette, in Kalamazoo, Mich. The Western Michigan University graduate followed a girl to Raleigh in 2006, and wisely married her one year later. They live in northeast Wake County with their two dogs Daisy and Clementine and their son. In his free time Billy enjoys playing and watching baseball, cycling, and exploring nature.

The 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light' singer posed for this picture for his Facebook page Monday afternoon, taken just minutes before he was set to go under the knife. An unidentified poster writes that the recovery process will take about two weeks.

Commercials for Monday (Nov. 19) night's episode of 'Revolution' on NBC have featured Led Zeppelin's 'Kashmir,' one of two songs by the band that will play during the hour-long episode. Producers Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams recently sat down to reveal they're big Zep-heads, joking that they wanted to build a show they could squeeze Led Zeppelin songs into.

An unlikelier musical collaboration could only be imagined by the author himself. John Mellencamp and Stephen King (with help from T Bone Burnett) have come together to write and record a soundtrack for a near-finished musical called 'Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.' The star-studded album will be available on March 13, 2013. It's not clear when and if the musical will make its full-scale debut.
