As expected, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will feature a multiplayer mode, and this latest trailer for the Caribbean-set sequel gives us the rundown on what to expect.

Like previous entries, there'll be a host of colorful characters to play as in the multiplayer, though obviously there will be a decidedly pirate-y bent to each player's persona. Many of the sneak attack kills are as violent as ever, and the old strategies of trickery and deception are back in full force.

The multiplayer mode for Assassin's Creed has been surprisingly fun since its addition in Brotherhood, and Ubisoft has managed to keep the mode fresh and fun over the past two entries. With Assassin's Creed 4, we'll have to see what twists are in store, but this trailer has us excited to step in the Animus once more to take down our friends when Black Flag arrives on Oct. 29 for Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 4 will get it on Nov. 15, with the Xbox One joining the action on Nov. 22.
