Sioux Falls Police have made an arrest in connection with a house fire early Wednesday morning.

Jeremy Larsen has been charged with Felony Reckless Burning in connection with the fire.

The house was being renovated at 1004. S. Harrington Court in Sioux Falls, just east of Cleveland Elementary, when the fire broke out around 3:00 Wednesday (January 22)

No one was in the house at the time of the fire. Investigators found accelerants in the wreckage this morning and footprints in the snow according to KSFY-TV.

Turns out KSFY actually interviewed Larsen as a witness to the fire.

"There's certainly been a track record of suspects that have either set fires or helped them go and then they just stayed around to watch them burn; that's kind of one of the things that not all arsonists do, but some do." Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens told KSFY.
