In a matter of two days, the Sioux Falls Skyforce turned over 30 percent of their roster.  The Skyforce announced Tuesday that the team has acquired forward James Mays from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Gabe Pruitt. Mays is expected to join the team in Austin tomorrow and be available for Wednesday's road game against the Austin Toros at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Mays averaged 12.4 points and 9.6 rebounds in five games (four starts) with Maine after being acquired in a trade with the Springfield Armor. He averaged 16.4 points and 10.6 rebounds in 26 games (all starts) with Springfield after participating in training camp with the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds in four seasons (108 games) at Clemson University.

Pruitt was a first round choice of the Skyforce in 2011 and was in his second year with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.  In 73 games, the 6-4 guard from Southern California averaged 8.7 points 2.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.  Pruitt is a former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics during their Banner 17 campaign and was a part of the Orlando Magic training camp during the 2011 NBA lockout.
