Sioux Falls is positioning itself as a big-ticket town.  Top-level events have been coming and more will be held here.

The South Dakota State Track Meet is a significant draw.  It stands to reason that when people come, there will be a corresponding need to accommodate the traffic.

Friday’s events held at Howard Wood Field showed little in the way of car congestion.  The video shows that early in the event schedule, you still had plenty of parking spots available.

Saturday will be a much different animal as the city has signs directing folks to the overflow areas beyond Sioux Falls Stadium south on Western Avenue at McCart Fields.  Those lots will fill quickly.
