Gone are the days of pinning a note to your kid’s jacket that says what she can and can’t have in the school cafeteria.

Now, some parents are choosing to brand their kids with washable tattoos that say exactly what their food allergies are.

The stick-ons are being called “safety tats,” and even though they won’t up your kid’s cool factor, they could up the little one’s chance of surviving an interaction with a peanut.

Have you used safety tats on your kids? It sure seems to make more sense to me than the old notes my mom used!
