Aerosmith NYC Show Cancelled

The New York City Parks Department has pulled the plug on the July 13th Living Social Backyard Festival, featuring Aerosmith.

Scheduled for Randall's Island Park, which sits in the East River, it was scrapped due to all the rainfall New York has received this month, which made the venue unsuitable for events. The repairs needed will not be completed in time.

Of course, this could just be the way of saying tickets were selling poorly as prices had been slashed over the past few weeks. Joan Jett was also scheduled to perform.
