Car vandals were busy overnight in Sioux Falls.

According to police a spree of vandalism hit separate areas of the southwestern part of the city during the early morning hours of Thursday, April 7.

Just after 1 a.m. police found several vehicles with their windows broken. Six cars located in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 5400 West 57th St. sustained significant window damage. Another vehicle was damaged just south of Holbrook Avenue and 57th Street.

Adam Peterson of the Sioux Falls Police Department says they still don't know what caused the damage to the cars, nor do they believe this string of vandalism is connected with any other vandalism in the area.

No arrests have been made, and police have no suspects at this time.

Anyone with further information regarding this case is asked to contact the Sioux Falls police department.
