Amid the leather and chrome of the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis, SD lies the famed Buffalo Chip Campground. It has been a long-standing tradition to gather for great music during the loudest week of summer - and this year, for the 75th anniversary, the first four concerts have been announced.

Brantley Gilbert will perform on Sunday, August 2, 2105. Gilbert topped Country radio last year with his Platinum-certified single “Bottoms Up” and hit the Top 10 with “Small Town Throwdown.” Five of Gilbert’s singles have achieved no. 1 status, and he has garnered impressive album sales and amassed multiple music industry awards including the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album for his most recent project, Just As I Am.

American hard rock band Five Finger Death Punch leads the list of megastars signed to appear at the Buffalo Chip this year. Both volumes of the band’s 2013 release, The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, hit no. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and the albums collectively garnered four no. 1 hit singles. The multi-million-selling rock titans will take the Buffalo Chip Wolfman Jack Stage on Saturday, August 1, 2105.

Rock legends Def Leppard are the third in the list of musical heavy-hitters to be announced for 2015. The band will take the main stage on Friday, August 7, 2015 equipped with its arsenal of party anthems including “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Animal,” and “Rock of Ages.” Def Leppard has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide over nearly five decades, which should leave no doubt for fans that the band is one of the most important forces in classic rock music.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform on Tuesday, August 4, 2105. Skynyrd boasts a collection of over 60 albums and sales topping 30 million worldwide. The band comes to the Buffalo Chip toting a deep catalog of universally known hit songs including “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Gimme Three Steps” and “Freebird.”

In addition to these great concerts, daredevil Doug Danger will attempt a 22-car jump on Evel Knievel’s vintage 1972 Harley-Davidson XR-750 in the middle of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip amphitheater on August 6, 2015.

The 75th Sturgis Rally promises to be huge with more acts and performances announced soon. Until then, we're polishing the chrome and getting ready for a great summer!
