As President Obama and the Democrats continue to make a strong push for tougher, more restrictive gun control legislation, along comes this story out of Sioux Falls that many people will probably agree helps further their case.

Sioux Falls police responded to a report late Sunday night of a gunshot around 11:30 at 3120 West Rambler Place, that led to the arrest of a 20 year old man.

According to police, Alexander John Middlen was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and underage possession or consumption of alcohol.

Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident. More details are expected to be released during a Tuesday, January 19 Sioux Falls police briefing.
