A two-vehicle crash Thursday night in northwest Sioux Falls sent two drivers to the hospital, one of them with injuries described as serious and life-threatening.

Police Lieutenant Troy Lubbers says the vehicles collided shortly before 11pm at the intersection of West Madison Street and North Terry Avenue.

One vehicle rolled onto its top and the driver, a 36-year-old Sioux Falls woman, was thrown. Her injuries are described as life-threatening.

The other driver, a 25-year-old Sioux Falls woman, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Lubbers says police are still determining the cause of the crash, but he says speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors.
